Mary Matthews Batchelor

Mary Matthews Batchelor, 91 of Wilson passed away Monday, April 1, 2024.   A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 5, 2024 in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson, with the family receiving friends immediately following.  Rev. Ray Barnhill will officiate.

Mary is survived by her children, Cynthia Hester and husband, Charlie, Jeffrey Batchelor and wife, Becky, Stephen Batchelor and wife, Nancy, and Jennifer Batchelor; granddaughters, Lindsey Hester and fiancé, Brandon Martin, Emily Culley and husband, Matthew, and Summer Batchelor; grandson, Trent Beard (Skylar Gandolfi), and a host of numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Meade Batchelor.

The family would like to express their gratitude and thanks to Spring Arbor of Wilson and Hospice of Wilson for their support, care and love they gave to Mary.
