Mary Felton O’Neal March 12, 1940 – August 19, 2019   Mary Felton O’Neal, 79 of Wilson passed away Monday.  Her funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in Maplewood Cemetery, Wilson.  The Rev. William O’Neal and Rev. Jerry Nelson will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday evening immediately following the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Mary was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend to all who knew her.  She had a smile that would brighten any room and one that would carry you through the day.  Mary was dearly loved and will be greatly missed and thought of often with warm memorials that will bring a smile to your face. Mary is survived by her son, Steven Ray “Butch” O’Neal and wife, Betty of Wilson; granddaughter, Amy Etheridge; grandsons, Michael Etheridge and Travis O’Neal; three great-grandchildren; sister, Ann Summerlin of Wilson; brother, Jack Felton and wife, Char of Macon, Georgia; special friend, Dick Schlachter of Wilson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond O’Neal; daughters, Susan Barnes and Connie O’Neal; sons, Raymond O’Neal, Jr. and Ricky O’Neal and her grandson, Bradley Barnes.
