Merry Ann Bridgers Harrell December 25, 1959 – August 25, 2021 Merry Ann Bridgers Harrell, 63 of Wilson passed away Wednesday. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon with the family receiving friends following the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Rev. Dwight Batts will officiate. Merry is survived by her daughter, Shannon Comerford and husband, Chris of Bailey; sisters, Kathy Williams of Edenton, and Patty Carter and husband, Ken of Sunset Beach; brother, Rodney Bridgers and wife, Peggy of Elm City; grandchildren, Zoe and Rylee Comerford; aunt, Dorothy “Peasy” Barnes of Elm City, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmie David and Helen Louise Jones Bridgers.
