Mildred Magdalene Whitley Brantley

Mildred Magdalene Brantley, 92, of Lucama passed away Thursday, June 18, 2026. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery, Wilson. Rev. Donnie Baker will officiate.

The family will receive friends Monday evening, June 22, 2026 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.

Mildred is survived by her children, Susan Lamm and husband, Tommy, Diane Smith, Donnie Baker and wife, Faye, Randy Baker, Sherry Berger and husband, Rudy, and Vicki Cade and husband, Junebug; grandchildren, Melissa Talarico, Michelle Glover, Paul Smith, Timmy Smith, John P. Smith, Amanda Blackmer, Randall Baker, Christy Baker, Dawn Bailey, Wayne Cade, and Ken Hailey; great-grandchildren, Devin Jackson, Falon Jackson, Skylar Talarico, Kaleigh Smith, Tyler Whitley, Kristen Lewis, Taylor Lewis, Kalyn Bailey, Kenleigh Hailey, Jordan Bailey, Dylan Cade, Blayden Cade, Dylan Holloman, Brittany Marlowe, Caitlin Batchelor, Austin Baker, Taylor Baker, Adrianna Blackmer, and Makayla Baker; great-great-grandchildren, Jasper Smith, Keira Jackson, Kinsley Jackson, Bree Jackson, Greyson Lewis, Jackson Holloman, and Charlie Holloman, and her brother, Donald Whitley.

She was preceded in death by her grandson, Jimmy Lamm; parents, Charlie and Rosa Whitley, and her siblings, Rosa Whitley, Archie Whitley, Clara Davis, Charlie Whitley, and Elsie Pittman.
