Minnie -Ruth- Leverette, 86, of Florida passed away Sunday.-Funeral services will be conducted 7 p.m. Thursday at Joyner-s Funeral Home.-A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Friday in Maplewood Cemetery.-The Rev. Billy Davis will officiate.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening immediately following the service at Joyner-s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.

-Ruth- is survived by her daughter, Teresa Collins and husband, Paul; her granddaughter, Cassi Collins; her grandsons, Randy Collins and Corey Collins all of New Port Richey, FL; her sister, Ruby Whitley Lucas of Lucama; her niece, Annette Lucas Sullivan and husband, Kenneth of Wilson and her nephew, Jay Lucas and wife, Lorraine of Lucama.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eldred Leverette; her parents, Jim and Mamie Whitley; and her brothers, June Thomas Whitley, James Whitley and Earl Whitley.
