Morris Earl Joyner

Morris Earl Joyner, 93, of Spring Hope passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family. A graveside service will be held at a later date.

Morris served in the U.S. Army for 27 years, he was lovingly referred to as "Sarge". He was very proud of his time in the Army. After retiring from the Army, Morris worked for Export Leaf Tobacco Company. He retired from Export Leaf Tobacco Company and went to work for Edwards Inc. Morris was a long-time member of White Oak Hill Free Will Baptist Church of Bailey. He loved motorcycle riding, Harleys of course, riding four wheelers, going to car shows and races. He was also an experienced wood crafter and loved working in his yard.

Morris is survived by his daughters, Patricia Eastwood and husband Donnie, and Grace Lee Fuller and husband Darrin; granddaughters, Brandy Frederick and husband Scott, Amanda Klinger-Rosa, Adrea Williams and husband Joey, Ashley Klinger, and Nikki Eastwood; sisters, Joanie Wall, and Millie Griffin. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren.

Morris was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years Joan Collier Joyner; parents Sidney Frank Joyner and Minnie Belle Gay, and some of his brothers and sisters.
