Munim Razak Al-Tayar, 84, of Wilson passed away Saturday. The family will receive friends 1 – 2 p.m. Wednesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Munim was survived by his wife, Ida Al-Tayar of the home; his daughter, Sue Furman of Wilson and his grandson, Marc Furman of Wilson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Abdul and Rissat Al-Tayar. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Shimmy for a Cause, c/o Ida Al-Tayar, 400 Crestview Avenue 2-C, Wilson, NC  27893.
