Nellie Ruth Westbrook Best June 4, 1939 – July 17, 2021 Nellie Ruth Westbrook Best, 82 of Wilson passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Helping Hands Family Center, Goldsboro. The family will receive friends from 4 – 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Nellie is survived by her son, Eric Westbrook and wife, Ramona; daughter-in-law, Vicki Westbrook, and her grandchildren, Ryan Westbrook, Daniel Westbrook and Rachel Westbrook. She was preceded in death by her spouses, Charles Westbrook and Cuyler Best; son, Chip Westbrook and her parents, Beauregard Overman and Lillie Williams Overman. The family wishes to express their gratitude of thanks for the care and kindness given to Nellie by Lighten the Load Elder Care of Bailey, Hospice of Wilson, Community Hospice of Goldsboro, and Helping Hands Family Center.
