Nellie DeKeyzer Verricchia November 15, 1935 – September 5, 2020 Nellie DeKeyzer Verricchia, 84 of Bailey passed away Saturday, September 5, 2020. Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at White Oak Hill Free Will Baptist Church, 3967 W Hornes Church Road, Bailey. Interment will follow in Bailey Town Cemetery, Bailey. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the residence. Nellie is survived by her daughters, Joy Murray of Plano, Texas and Cathie Ruggieri and husband, David of West Chester, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Ashton Murray, Blake Murray, Chase Thomas, Huston Thomas and Hunter Thomas and Jessica. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Joseph “A.J.” Verricchia, Jr.; parents, Christian and Lillian Nolley DeKeyzer; sisters, Lorraine Ellis and Gretchen Brewer and her brothers, Christian DeKeyzer and Randall DeKeyzer.
