Oscar Ray Pierce III, 42, of Wilson passed away.-Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday at Highland Independent Church Wilson.-Interment will follow in Pierce Snipes Cemetery in Princeton.-The Rev. Jerry Nelson will officiate.

The family will receive friends 7 - 9 p.m. Friday at Highland Independent Church, 2006 Patterson Way, Wilson.

Oscar is survived by his son, Jordan Blake Pierce of Lucama; his step-son, Lee Foster of Virginia; his mother, Ollie Jean Ruffin of Kenly and his father, Oscar Ray Pierce, Jr. and his wife, Karen of Kinston; his sister, Jennifer Dawn Pierce and husband, Jeremy of Stantonsburg and Amie Pierce of Wilson; his grandfather, Oscar Ray Pierce, Sr.; his niece, Lauren Pierce of Stantonsburg and his nephew, Jacob Carroll Pierce both of Stantonsburg.
