Patricia Carol Grimes

Patricia Barnes Grimes, 73 of Wilson passed away Sunday.  A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 1, 2024, in Chase Family Cemetery, 402 Forehand Road, Pikeville.

The family will receive friends Friday evening May 31, 2024, from 6 – 8 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.

Patricia is survived by her husband of forty years, Ricky W. Grimes; sons, Chris Starling and wife, Veronica, and Ricky Eric Grimes; granddaughters, Leanna Starling, Alyssa Starling, Riley Grimes, and Sadie Mae Grimes; grandson, Devin Stancil, and her sisters, Faye Owens, Dorothy Braswell, and Linda Macaluso.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Taft and Fannie Mae Barnes; sister, Jean Batchelor, and her brothers, Roland Barnes, and Tommy Barnes.
