Pauline Jones

Pauline Jones July 5, 1929 – February 18, 2018 Pauline Edmundson Jones, 88, of Norlina went to be with her Lord Jesus Sunday night. Her funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Stantonsburg Cemetery. The Rev. Wayne Whitley will officiate. Her family will receive friends 1:00 – 1:45 p.m. prior to service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Pauline fought a good fight since falling ill several years ago. She was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law and grandma. She was a member of Wildwood Baptist Church and attended for as long as able. Pauline is survived by her daughter, Terry Amerson and husband, Jim of Wilson; son, Dale Jones and wife, Cindy of Norlina; grandsons, T.J. Williams of Warrenton and Josh Jones and wife, Julie of Greensboro; sisters, Bertha Proctor of Wilson and Janet of Greensboro; brother, Sidney Edmundson of Norfolk, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of fifty plus years, Edgar Earl Jones; parents, James and Lillian Edmundson; sister, Joyce Moore; brothers, Herman Edmundson and Steve Edmundson.
