Peggy Marie Meeks Holloman

Peggy Marie Holloman, 80, of Rocky Mount passed away Thursday, May 8, 2025. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, 2025, in Maplewood Cemetery, Wilson. John Turner will officiate.

The family will receive friends Monday evening, May 12, 2025, from 6 – 8 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.

Peggy is survived by her daughters, Dalen Towne of Minnesota, and Sandra Holloman of Rocky Mount; son, Mark Holloman of Rocky Mount; grandchildren, Helena Towne, Liam Towne, and Ada Towne; sister, Patricia Worrell and her brother, Alton Ray “Butch” Meeks.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Aubrey Holloman, Sr.; son, William Aubrey Holloman, II; parents, Roy and Bertha Meeks; sisters, Faye Stillwell, and Nancy Hall, and her brothers, Cecil Meeks, “Bud” Meeks, and Leroy Meeks.
