Peggy Learn Newcomb

Peggy Learn Newcomb, 79, of Rocky Mount passed away Saturday, August 2, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday evening, August 7, 2025, at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. A graveside will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, August 8, 2025. Rev. Lonnie Humphrey will officiate.

The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon from 4:45 – 5:45 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.

Peggy is survived by her husband, William Newcomb, Jr. and her brother, Henry Holden.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlotte and Sarah Holden; sister, Annie Ruth Holden, and her brothers, Charlotte Holden, Jr., and Vander Holden.
