Peggy Nora Winstead Fulghum April 17, 1941 – July 1, 2020 Peggy Nora Winstead Fulghum, 79 of Wilson passed away Wednesday. A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment will follow in Nobles Chapel Church Cemetery, 7330 Old Raleigh Road, Sims. The Pastor Carol Dean will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday afternoon from 1:30 – 2:45 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home of her sister, Patsy. Peggy is survived by her loving husband, George Fulghum of the home; sons, Cale Fulghum and wife, Joy of Sims and Mike Fulghum of Sims; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Patsy Thompson and husband, Wayne; brother, Ronnie Winstead and wife, Lynn and her sister-in-law, Nancy Winstead. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Angie Ginn; son, Randy Fulghum and her brothers, Ray Winstead and Raymond Winstead.
