Peggy Bissette Ruffin

Peggy Bissette Ruffin, 79, of Sims passed away Thursday. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at Bailey Baptist Church. Rev. Daniel Blackburn will officiate.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. – 2:15 p.m. at Bailey Baptist Church in the fellowship hall and other times at the family home.

Peggy is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Robert “Bobby” Ruffin. She was a loving Mother of three children; daughters, Debbie Mason (Anthony), Sharon Ruffin (Danny Ferrell), and son, Randy Ruffin (Denise). Peggy was also a loving grandmother to Kristen Lamm, Jennifer Christianson, Matthew Ruffin, Michael Hall, Clayton Jones, and Tyler Ruffin and twelve great-grandchildren. Peggy is also survived by her four sisters, Shelby McKeel, Brenda Mayo, Betty Nichols and Wanda Hinnant and her faithful dog, Amy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Sudie Gray Bissette, and brothers, Phil and Peter Bissette.
