Phillip Michael Joyner

Phillip Michael Joyner, 53, of Bailey passed away Sunday, September 6, 2026. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 12, 2026, at White Oak Hill Free Will Baptist Church, 3967 W Hornes Church Road, Bailey. Rev. Hall Jones and Rev. Robbie Piper will officiate.

Phillip was an excellent carpenter, a loving husband, father, step-father, grandfather and a friend to all who knew him. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

Phillip is survived by his loving wife Georgia Joyner of the home; daughter, Shannon Joyner of Nashville; stepson, Marcus Whitley and his wife, Molly of Sims; step-daughter, Anna Pittman and her husband, Brock of Wilson; grandchildren, Lilly Whitley and Chloe Whitley; step-mother, Laura Joyner of Castalia; sister, Donna Worrell and his brothers, Wayne Joyner and his wife, Melissa, Randy Perkins and friend, Shannon, and Joey Joyner and his wife, Pam and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son, Cody Michael Joyner and his parents, Joseph Wayne and Rosa Mae Joyner.
