Phillip Oswell Leggett

Phillip Oswell Leggett 76 of Kenly passed away on Thursday July 23,2026 at his home. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday July 28, 2026, at 6:00PM, at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson, NC. Rev. Rusty Russell will officiate.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday July 28, 2026, from 5:00-5:45PM, at Joyner’s Funeral Home.

Phillip is survived by his daughter Michelle Boyette and husband Dale of Lucama; granddaughters, Elizabeth Boyette Gray and husband, Joseph of Lucama, and Emily Boyette Bass and husband, Alex of Lucama; grandsons, Christopher Phillip Leggett and Jessica Evans of the home, and Sean Michael Leggett and wife, Danielle of Shelbyville, Kentucky; five great grandchildren, Ricky, Emry, Henry, Ruby, and Luna; and fur-baby Odi.

Phillip was preceded in death by his wife Angela Leggett, son Sean Leggett, and parents J.O. and Beaulah Leggett.
