Randy Lee Phillips, 72, of Lucama passed away Sunday, August 23, 2026. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at Niagara Pentecostal Holiness Church, 1820 Bagley Road, Kenly. Pastor Michael Dye and Pastor Tim Hooks will officiate. Interment will follow in the Pittman Family Cemetery, Lucama.

The family will receive friends Tuesday prior to the service from 1 – 1:45 p.m. at Niagara Pentecostal Holiness Church, Kenly.

Randy served his Lord faithfully and reached out to others through Savior and Saddles Outreach Ministry and as a teacher and preacher. He was a jack of all trades; there was nothing he could not fix. Randy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to all who knew him and he will be dearly missed.

Randy is survived by his loving wife of fifty-two years, Rose Phillips; daughter, Christina Shaw and husband, Marcus; grandchildren, Ty Philpott and wife, Jenni, Rayne Philpott and fiancé’, Christian, Renee Shaw, and Connor Shaw and fiancé, Cynthia; great-grandchildren, Easton, Rowan, Oliver, Reece, Henry; sisters, Rebecca “Kay” Brown and Diana Sutton and husband, Willard; brothers, Charles Phillips, Richard Phillips and wife, Sheila, David Phillips, Joseph Phillips and wife, Wendy, and John Phillips and wife, Brooke; step-mother, Bonnie Keating, and his sisters-in-law, Kara Phillips and Susan Phillips.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Lola Phillips; brothers, Billy Phillips and Kenneth Phillips and his brother-in-law, Richard “Dick” Brown.

“I’m waiting in Heaven. Please accept Christ and come see us.”
