Rev, Billy Rudolph Davis 89, of Wilson passed away on Friday, July 18, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 23, 2025, 11:00am at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Rd Pkwy W, Wilson NC. Interment will follow. Pastors Garland Driver and Lorenza Tate will be officiating.

The family will receive friends at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wednesday July 23, 2025, from 9:30 until 10:45am.

Billy loved his Lord and Savior, and he loved the preaching of God’s word. He preached it faithfully at Gospel Assembly Church for 62 years. He worked for Coca-Cola Bottlers for over 30 years and had his own home improvement business.

Billy is survived by his wife, the love of his life, and his very best friend of 72 years, Claire Whitley Davis; his daughter Amanda Johnson and husband Jerry; his grandsons Daniel Brockman and wife Catherine, and Billy Brockman; sister Rae Brantley; great-grandchildren Judah and Davis Brockman.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Lindy Davis; parents Charles and Lula Davis; sister Nancy Thomke, and brothers Chuck Davis and Ralph Davis.
