Rev. Richard "Tommy" Hagan

Rev. Richard T “Tommy” Hagan, 91, of Elm City passed away Thursday. His funeral will be conducted at 5:00pm, Sunday, January 4, 2026, at Joyner's Funeral Home, Wilson, NC. A graveside service will be held at Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson, NC. The Rev. Randy Stallings will officiate.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening immediately following the service at Joyner's Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Pkwy W, Wilson, NC and other times at the home of his daughter, Carolyn, 6455 Chadwick Road, Elm City.

Rev. Tommy is survived by his daughter, Carolyn Hagan and sons, Richard Thomas "Ricky" Hagan, Jr. (Cheryl) and Robbie Hendricks (Barbara).

His grandchildren, Rebecca Nichols (Danny), Mandy Dew (Wesley), Chris Hagan (Renee), Shannon Horne, Brittany Baker (Chase), Brooke Goedhard (Danny), Taylor Watkins (Cody), Chad Hendricks, and Heather Jett: his great-grandchildren, Ryan Mooring, Brandon Tucker, Destiny Dew, Skylar Horne, Cheyenne Riley, Carter Horne, Brooklyn Watkins, Autumn Bordeaux, Valerie Watkins, Audrey Baker, Piper Watkins, Saralyn Goedhard, Silas Baker, Camilla Hernandez, and Hunter Mooring.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife Bernice Hagan
