Roberta Lavern Dean

Roberta (Bobby) Lavern Dean, 70, of Louisburg passed peacefully at home on Thursday, May 15, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

The family will have a celebration of life for Roberta at a later date in her home town in Kentucky.

Roberta was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, friend and fur mama to BellaRose. Her love and strength touched everyone who knew her. Roberta had a special place in her heart for animals and loved supporting local animal shelters.

Roberta is survived by her sons, James Alexander Dean (Rebecca) and Joshua Paul Flora (Carrie Hunt); granddaughters, Payton LeeAnne Dean (Chris Tripp) and Makenna Raine Falor (Chance Burrell); grandson, Cooper Alexander Dean (Meghan Bewick); great grandson, Jaxson Tripp; sisters, Donna Dean Hockensmith and Elizabeth Henry; brothers, Sonny Dean and Michael Dean

Roberta is preceded in death by her parents, Winford Lavern Dean and Dorthy Ann Lewis; sister, Scottie Ralston

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that any donations made in Robertas memory be directed towards local animal shelters.
