Romaine "Ronnie" Daniel

Romaine Daniel April 23, 1942 – March 3, 2021 Romaine “Ronnie” Daniel, 78, affectionally known to all as Granny, gained her angel wings on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 8, 2021 at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. The family will receive friends Monday afternoon from 1 – 1:45 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Ronnie could always be found dancing and singing at every family gathering. Ronnie was devoted to her family and has continuously willing to tend to anyone in need of her care. Ronnie’s favorite past time was shopping for the trendiest clothes and shoes. Ronnie is survived by her husband, Robert Miller Daniel; children, Patrick Joseph McCann III and wife, Joanie, Michelle McCann Maynard and husband, Ralph, and Tonya McCann Reynolds and husband, Chris; grandchildren, Jennifer, Tiffany, Christopher, Stephanie, Devin, Jeremy, and Madeline; great-grandchildren, Colt, Grey and Stella Mae, and her brothers and sisters, Mae Eva, Elray, Jearlene “Polly”, Evelyn “Boxie” and Teddy Gene. Ronnie was preceded in death by her parents, Tim and Millie; sisters, Mary Ethel, Betty Louise, James, Glendine, Mary Janice “Neice” and Clyde “Jackie”.
