Ronald Lamm

Ronald "Ronnie" Lamm, age 70, of Bailey, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 5, 2026, with his two daughters by his side.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 8, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:15 p.m. at Stoneybrook Christian Church, 3502 Airport Blvd. NW, Wilson, NC 27896. A memorial service will follow at 2:30 p.m., officiated by Reverend Lance Pippin.

Ronnie was a devoted father, proud grandfather, loyal brother, and treasured friend. His greatest joy was the time he spent with his family, and the love he shared with them will remain a lasting source of comfort and strength.

He is survived by his daughters, Kristen Lamm (Cray High) and Jennifer Lamm Christianson; his beloved grandchildren, Liam High, Declan High, Carter Bandy, and Marlie Christianson; his brothers, Bobby Lamm, James Lamm, Kenneth Lamm, and Eugene Lamm; his sister, Janice Hennekes; and his lifelong friend, Fred Hall. He also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Alice Lamm; his sister, Julia Thorpe; his twin brother, Donnie Lamm; and his brothers, Jesse Lamm and Billy Lamm.

Ronnie retired in 2017 after 26 years of dedicated service with Nash-Rocky Mount Schools, where he served as Maintenance Supervisor. He took great pride in his work and was respected by colleagues for his dependability, strong work ethic, and willingness to help others.

Outside of work, Ronnie enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. He loved firing up the grill for family and friends, spending time on the golf course, and cheering on his beloved Dallas Cowboys every football season. His quick smile, generous heart, and easygoing spirit made him someone people naturally enjoyed being around.

Ronnie's legacy is one of love, devotion, and quiet strength. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, but his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
