Shelby Jean Ferrell Moore April 16, 1938 – September 30, 2021 Shelby Jean Ferrell Moore, 82 of Wilson passed away Thursday. Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Rev. Al Cummings will officiate. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 4 – 5:45 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Shelby is survived by her daughter, Terry Lynn Silverthorn and husband, David of Wilson; sons, John Wayne Moore and wife, Tammy, and Rickey Lee Moore both of Wilson; granddaughters, Tracy Strickland, and Kayla Moore; grandsons, Michel Edward Strickland and wife, Dee Strickland, Wayne Strickland and wife, Jaime Strickland, Rickey Lee Moore, Jr. and wife, Michelle, Shawn D. Edward Moore, Rickey Taylor Moore and wife, Christina Griffith; great granddaughters, Lindsey Simmons and husband, Anthony, Cassie Floars, Haley Floars, Angel Strickland, Gracie Moore, Destiny Moore and Aubrey Moore; great grandsons, Adam Strickland, Ryan Strickland, Justin Strickland, Micheal Strickland, Jr., Rickey Taylor, Jr., and Hunter Moore; great-great granddaughters, Paisley Simmons; great-great grandsons, Connor Capps, and her sisters, Emily Deans of Georgia, and Edna Krob of Pikeville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby D. Moore; daughter, Brenda Sue Landry; son, Bobby Glenn Moore, and her parents, Williard and Evelyn Ferrell.
