Shelby "Jean" Davis Morgan

Shelby Jean Davis Morgan, 85, of Kenly passed away Friday, February 6, 2026. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m.  Monday, February 9, 2026, . at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment will follow in Contentnea Church Cemetery, Wilson. Rev. David Kriger will officiate.

The family will receive friends Monday afternoon from 1 – 1:45 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.

Jean is survived by her daughter, Lori Winstead and husband, David; son, Roddy Morgan and wife, Gwen; grandchildren, Jessica Nations and husband, Josh, Lee Winstead, and Clint Carter; great-grandchildren, Hadley Nations and Asher Nations, and her sister, Shirley Batts and husband, James.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walston and Agnes Davis, and her special fur babies, Emma and Hunter.
