Shirley Jean Brown

Shirley Jean Brown, 69 of Bailey passed away peacefully Saturday morning surrounded by her family.  A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Bailey Town Cemetery, Bailey.  The Rev. Daniel Taylor will officiate.  The family will receive friends at the home.

Shirley was a beloved wife, ma, grandma, and friend.  She will be missed but will be remembered with wonderful memories.

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Shannon Hendricks Denton and husband, Kevin; son, Ricky Brown and wife, Tina and her beautiful granddaughters, whom she loved and adored, Ashlyn Hendricks, Makala Brown, Hailey Denton and Maddie Brown; sisters, Marie Peacok and husband, J.F., and Doris Walls and husband, Billy; brother, Charles West and wife, Tammy, and several loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Brown; parents, Royal and Ethel Lee West; sisters, Mavis Pipkin, and Ann Carol Harris; brother, Luther Strickland, and her niece, Wanda Jenkins.
