Skylar Elizabeth Hall

December 6, 2022 – March 1, 2023

Psalm 139:13-14

13 For you created my inmost being;

    you knit me together in my mother’s womb.

14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;

    your works are wonderful,

    I know that full well.

Skylar Elizabeth Hall passed away peacefully in her mother’s arms, with her dad by her side, on March 1, 2023. She was only 2 ½ months old, but her life touched so many in the short time she was here.

She was beloved by her parents, Cody and Brooke Hall, her big brother Jaxon, her grandparents, Bob and Melissa Bex, Charles and Beamon Hall, Kitty Hall, and her many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her great grandfather Donald Lee Cates, great aunt Penny McIntyre Jeffreys, and great grandmother Joyce Nan Kniffin.

Skylar was born at Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC on December 6th, 2022 where she spent 76 days in the NICU. She was diagnosed in utero with Edwards Syndrome and was truly a miracle baby, breaking so many barriers for babies with this diagnosis.  Her life inspired and blessed her family and everyone who cared for and prayed for her. Her family takes comfort in knowing she is now with Jesus and they will see her again.

A celebration of life will be held at Eastgate Church, 2301 Montgomery Dr., Wilson, North Carolina on Saturday, March 11th at 12:00pm.

Condolences directed to Joyner’s Funeral Home and Crematory at www.joyners.net.
