Stanley Hunter Ruffin, 60, of Elm City passed away Wednesday.  A graveside service will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday in Stantonsburg Cemetery.  The Rev. Tim McFatter will officiate. The family will receive friends 7 – 9 p.m. Friday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway and other times at the home. Stanley is survived by his son, Gregory Hunter Ruffin and wife, Amber of Rocky Mount; his granddaughters, Siddalee and Hailey Ruffin both of Rocky Mount; his grandsons, Tyler and Damien Ruffin both of Rocky Mount; his sisters, Shirley Ricks of Elm City, Teresa Ruffin of Elm City and Maureen Craig of Eden and his brother, Robert Morris Ruffin, Jr. of Elm City.
