Susan Walker Batchelder, 63, of Wilson passed away Saturday.-The family will receive friends 4 - 7 p.m. Wednesday at Joyner-s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway.

Susan graduated from the nursing program of Wilson Technical Community College, and was a dedicated Registered Nurse.-She was a compassionate Hospice Nurse for many years and also an award winning Director of Nursing for the Brian Center of Wilson.-She was a loving mother that will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Susan is survived by her daughters, Julia S. Langley and T.J. Winstead of Wilson and Brandi L. Bass and husband, Thomas of Macclesfield; her son, Michael Langley of Wilson; her grandson, Wesley Bass of Elm City; her grandpuppies, Lucky, Tink and Trixie and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Eugenia Walker and her sisters, Beth and Marilyn.
