Tammy Carey Batten

Tammy Yvonne Carey Batten, 57, passed away on Sunday, October 8.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 14 at 11:00 am at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. 

Family will receive friends and family on Friday, October 13 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Joyner’s Funeral Home.

Tammy is survived by her loving husband, Terry Allen Batten; son, Brandon Skinner Hadfield and husband, Alex of Raleigh; sisters, Wanda Davis and husband, Mole of Black Creek, Patricia Raper and husband, Jeff of Lucama; and Denise Tedder and husband, Ricky of Rock Ridge; brother, Keith Carey of Black Creek; brother-in-law, Abel Tamez of Wilson; and mother-in-law, Karin Batten.

Tammy was preceded in death by her parents, William Carey and Ernestine Walston Carey; sisters, Cathey Carey Brinkley and Linda Tamez; and sister-in-law, Janet Carey.
