Terry Allen Batten

Terry Allen Batten, 60 of Wilson passed away Monday, April 6, 2026. The family will receive friends Saturday morning, April 11, 2026, from 10 – 10:45 a.m. with a funeral service to follow at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.

Terry was a good man that will be missed a lot. He was a good father, brother, son, and his family was an important part of his life. Terry was always willing to help others and he never complained. He played the guitar, and he was an avid Star Wars and Nascar fan and he loved to cook.

Terry is survived by his son, Brandon Skinner and partner, Alexander Hadfield; mom, Karin Batten; sister, Michelle Barnett and husband, Shawn, and his nieces and nephews, Samantha Cox, Hunter Cox, Bryce Cox and Rhegan Barnett.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Tammy Batten and father, Rueben Batten.
