Thomas Wiseman January 25, 1946 – July 4, 2021 Tom went to be with his Heavenly Father on July 4, 2021. He was born on January 25, 1946, in Rainelle, West Virginia. Tom was adopted at birth and was loved so much by his adopted family. His parents and two older sisters spoiled him and loved him so much. Later in life he was united with his biological sisters, and they also had a close relationship. He had a very blessed life with much love around him constantly. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. The family will receive friends from 10 - 11:15 a.m. Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Wallace and Wallace Funeral Home, 213 Main Street, Rainelle, West Virginia. Graveside service will be held at 12 p.m. in the Wallace Memorial Chapel. Tom worked for Sears for close to thirty years and then sold insurance with Prudential. He loved his high school friends and still talked with them daily. He was a lover of bingo, golf, and fishing. He loved to eat, even in his last days his appetite did not cease. Tom treated everybody like they were family. He was a great dad, husband, and friend. He always wanted the best for his children, grandchildren, and friends. Tom will be greatly missed. Tom is preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife of forty-eight years, Sheila Wiseman; father, Albert Wiseman; mother, Kathleen Wiseman; sister, Bonnie Evans; half- sister, Karen Angle and his half- brother, Demes Lewis. Tom is survived by his children, Dustin Wiseman and wife, Tina; Dawn Wiseman Holloman and husband, Travis, and Wendy Wiseman Barkley and husband, Thomas; grandchildren, Kennedy Wiseman Parker and husband, Will, Hudson Holloman, Sloane Holloman, Claire Barkley, and Graham Barkley; sister, Betty Wiseman Turner; special friend, Betty Winstead; half- sisters, Sharon Arnold and Marilyn Bennett and many nieces and nephews. We appreciate years of support and love to Divita Dialysis of Wilson, and 3HC Hospice, we will forever be grateful. Condolences directed to Joyner’s Funeral Home and Crematory at www.joyners.net.
