It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Tracy Perry, a devoted husband, proud father, loving family man, and dedicated tow truck operator.
Tracy tragically lost his life in a work-related accident while operating his tow truck—doing what he loved most: helping others. He took great pride in serving his community, always ready to lend a hand to someone in need. His compassion, work ethic, and selfless spirit defined the man he was.
He was the beloved husband of Angela Perry and the proud father of his only son, Rylan Harvey Perry, who was the greatest joy of his life. He also deeply loved Landon, Daniel Wayne, and Kayleigh, embracing them as his own and cherishing the family they shared.
For more than 30 years, Tracy dedicated his life to the trucking industry. Whether behind the wheel of a truck or responding to help someone in need with his tow truck, he was known for his dependability, kindness, and willingness to serve others without hesitation.
When he wasn't working, Tracy loved spending time fishing, exploring the mountains, and creating lasting memories with his family. He made his home in Hobgood, North Carolina, with his wife, Angela, but was proudly raised in Bailey, North Carolina, where he built the values that guided him throughout his life.
He is survived by his loving wife, Angela Perry; his beloved son, Rylan Harvey Perry; step- children: Landon, Daniel Wayne, and Kayleigh; his father, Harvey Perry Jr.; his sister, Tammy Perry, her husband, Glenn; and brother David Perry, his wife Janet, along with many other family members and friends whose lives were forever changed by his kindness.
Tracy was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Peggy Perry, whom we know welcomed him home with open arms.
Although Tracy's life was cut far too short, he left this world exactly as he lived it—with a servant's heart, helping others. His legacy of love, strength, and generosity will continue through the family he cherished and the countless lives he touched.
Rest easy, Tracy. Your final call has been answered, and your watch is over. Thank you for a lifetime of helping others. You will never be forgotten.
