Sincere sympathy to Carol, Dale and families at the loss of your amazing dad. He and your mother were the best possible neighbors for the across the street Johnson’s (since I was 6 years old!!). They continued to do so for our mother. We loved them so much and will really miss them in the days ahead. Love and prayers, Norma Johnson Duell.

What a great man Chief was. I knew him through working for his son for many years. Always a smile and a friendly word to everyone. He and June were two of the nicest people I have ever met. My deepest sympathies to the family.

Last wed. God needed a very good man, so he called the " chief " home. Chief Etheridge was one of the finest men I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He will be greatly missed.

“Chief” Van B. Etheridge was my father’s last best friend. We were neighboring this last year as we renovated our family home around the corner from Van and June’s house. Van was a true fireman of the old school long before all this safety equipment became standard. God bless Van and June. You are missed. Oliver and Elizabeth Hedgepeth (and for Virginia and \"Chief\" B.L. Hedgepeth)
