Vannie Lee "Buster" Casey

Vannie Lee Casey, 69, of Elm City, passed away Wednesday.  The family will receive friends Monday evening, May 23, 2022 from 6 - 8 p.m. at Joyner's Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.

Vannie is survived by his daughters, Amy Gonyea and Christie Moore; granddaughter, Amanda Gonyea; grandson, Daniel Adkins; sister, Nadine Baker and husband, Frank; niece, Sherry McQuaid and husband, Ken; nephew, James Baker and wife, Tracey; a host of loving nieces, nephews and cousins; dearest best friend of many long years, Danny Howell.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Jessie Casey; infant daughter, Angela Casey; grandson, Cameron Hamilton; brother, Danny Casey and son-in-law, Jeremy Gonyea.
