Virginia Everson Evett September 11, 1935 – December 15, 2020 Virginia Everson Evett, 85, of Wilson passed away Tuesday. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 22, 2020 in Maplewood Cemetery. The Reverend Chris Thomas will officiate. She was a middle school educator in the North Carolina Public School System for thirty years. Virginia is survived by her daughter Susan E. Boswell and husband Michael of Wilson; son Samuel Richardson Evett, Jr. and wife Ginny of Cary; granddaughters Alyson Boswell, Sarah Anderson and husband Josh, Melissa Puryear and husband Cory, and Christina Durham and husband Sean; grandson, Tommy Evett; and her great-grandsons Emmett Puryear and Charlie Puryear.
