Wade Earl Troutman

Wade Earl Troutman, Sr. 83, of Wilson passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2025 surrounded by his family. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 4, 2025, at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Rev. David Denton will officiate.

The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2:00 – 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home.

Wade served his country with honor and pride with the National Guard. He was a sales manager for Durham Life Insurance, and he retired as owner of Bargain City Wholesale. Wade loved all sports, especially the Washington Nationals baseball team and was an avid N.C. State fan supporting them for numerous years as a football season ticket holder.

Wade is survived by his loving wife of forty-two years, Lucille Ricks Troutman of the home; daughter, Ginnie Eubanks and fiancé, Chad of Wilson; sons, Wade Earl Troutman, Jr. and Marsha of Kenly and Douglas Ray Eubanks of Kenly; granddaughters, Tiffany Troutman and Christy Troutman; grandsons, Wade Earl Troutman, III and Joshua Ray Eubanks; brothers, Wallace Troutman of Swansboro and Joe Troutman and wife, Judy of Apex; several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Worth and Celia Wooten Troutman; sisters, Margaret Troutman Bell and Jean Dixon and his brothers, Charles Ray Troutman and Erwin Page; sister-in-law, Pat Troutman and his brothers-in-law, Bruce Bell and Carlton Dixon.
