Willard Alfred Evans

Willard Alfred Evans, 92, went home to be with his Lord and Saviour on Wednesday, May 17.  A funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 21 at 4:00 pm at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 1815 Airport Blvd. W, Wilson, NC.  Family will receive friends immediately following the funeral service at Tabernacle Baptist Church.  Pastor Joe Shakour will officiate.

Willard is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Hilda Bowen Evans; daughter, Deborah Evans Earp and husband, Greg of Selma; son, Alan Evans and wife, Kim of Wilson; granddaughter, Kimberlyn Evans Summerlin and husband, George Wayne of Elm City; and grandsons, Evan Earp of Wilson and Thomas Evans of Wilson.

Willard was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Thomas Evans and Delphia Waddell Evans; two sisters; and six brothers.
