William Franklin “Frank” Wrenn, 91, of Zebulon passed away peacefully, surrounded by family Monday, August 25, 2025. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, August 29, 2025, in Bailey Town Cemetery, Bailey. Rev. Steve Strickland will officiate.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening, August 28, 2025, from 6 – 8 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.
Frank was devoted to family and enjoyed spending time with friends. After retirement, he spent his time driving the golf cart around the farm, feeding the ducks and fish with friends, especially his sister Ade Mae. For many years, you could find him dancing and enjoying music from his son and the Southern Star Band. He enjoyed fishing with friends and family, especially his brother Elzie, and hunting with the grandkids. He was a jack of all trades and spent much time repairing anything that needed fixing. He spent much of his time with his son, Greg, and Mark, helping them with their everyday activities, while often critiquing the tasks they were doing.
Frank is survived by his son, Jeffrey “Mark” Wrenn and wife, Shelia; grandsons, Anthony Wrenn and wife, Diana, Wesley Wrenn, Chad Wrenn and Brandon Wrenn; granddaughter, Trinity Lawrence; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; his sister, Ada Mae Hicks of Zebulon and a special family friend, Marla.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Doris Wrenn; sons, William “Greg” Gregory Wrenn, and Frankie Wrenn, and his brothers, Luther Wrenn, Fletcher Wrenn, and Elzie Wrenn
