William "Rabbit" Charles McKeel

William “Rabbit” Charles McKeel, 73, of Bailey, passed away Saturday. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 16, 2022, at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Interment will follow in Bailey Town Cemetery. Rev. Brittney and Chase Caldwell will officiate.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 16, 2022, at Joyner’s Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m.

Charles is survived by his loving wife, Teresa McKeel of the home; daughter, Vickie Williams and husband, Matt; sons, Charlie McKeel, Ken McKeel and wife, Sheila; step daughters, Christie Dilda and husband, Jim and Jessica Coley and husband, Tommy; step sons, Brian Adkins and wife, Courtney, Donnie Adkins and wife, Jessica and Billy Flowers; granddaughters, Kaitlin Sturgis and husband, Micah, Rebekah Braddy and husband, Elijah, Mollie Dilda, Brittney Gurgone, Bristol Adkins, Ryleigh Adkins, Amelia Adkins, Lillian Coley and Courtney McKeel; grandsons, David Williams, Luke Dilda, Tyler McKeel, Bobby McKeel, Colten Adkins, Jessie Adkins, David Adkins, Avery Adkins and Caleb Coley; great grandson, Elliott Braddy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ethel McKeel; brothers, Randy McKeel, Roger McKeel and Ricky McKeel and his previous wife, Sue McKeel.
