Millie Faye Skinner

Millie Faye Skinner, 82, of Wilson passed away Sunday, April 19, 2026. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, April 24, 2026, at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park. Rev. Angel Padilla and Pastor Greg Long will officiate.

The family will receive friends Friday morning from 10:30 – 11:15 prior to the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.

Faye was a caregiver of hundreds of infants at Kiddie Kampus for over twenty-five years. She is a breast cancer survivor and a recipient of a heart transplant of seventeen years. Faye was a member of Cornerstone Pentecostal Church for fifty-seven years and served as the church secretary. Faye was dearly loved and will be remembered with wonderful memories that will bring a smile to your face.

Faye is survived by her husband of sixty-three years, Bobby Skinner; sons, Wayne Skinner and wife, Amy, Keith Skinner and wife, Beth, and Jeff Skinner and wife, Dana; grandchildren, Brad Skinner and wife, Atlanta, Teran Skinner, Wesley Skinner, Ashley Skinner, and Hunter Skinner and wife, Mattie; great-grandchildren, Baylor Skinner, Beckham Skinner, Blakely Skinner and Bowen Skinner, and her sister, Joyce Fulton and Dave.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandchild, Kylie Woodard; parents, Tom and Wilma Daniel; brother, Earl Daniel, and her sister, Gail Smith-Nunn.
